inReach Explorer+ combines two-way messaging, SOS function and tracking via the global Iridium satellite network. In addition it features pre-loaded maps with onscreen GPS routing and built-in digital compass, barometric altimeter and accelerator.

Send and receive messages anywhere in the world even when out of mobile range with inReach Explorer+. There are two ways to message using the device, the quickest way is to send a preset message (e.g. I’m ok or Heading home). Alternatively you can type out a message using the onscreen keyboard.

GEOS work with emergency services worldwide and using your co-ordinates they will work with appropriate organisations to get help. They will not abandon the case until they are certain you are safe.

As part of all inReach subscriptions you have access to an online account where you can manage device settings and contacts, preset messages, MapShare settings and billing. Using the online portal you can also link to social media accounts, setup waypoints and routes and upgrade firmware.

Affordable, Flexible Satellite Airtime Plans To access the Iridium network and communicate with your inReach SE+ or Explorer+ device, an active satellite subscription is required. Depending on your usage level, you can opt for an annual contract package or flexible month-to-month airtime plan.

Designed for 1-handed, quick-release operation, this powered mount allows for easy grab-and-go accessibility with your compatible inReach handheld satellite communicator. It uses the AMPS mounting pattern and includes an integrated cable with USB connection.

Call for emergency assistance anywhere in the world with the SOS function – In the event that you get into a dangerous situation and need to call for assistance inReach can help. When you press the SOS button on the side of the device your GPS co-ordinates will be sent to the GEOS Emergency Response Center.
Global Satellite Tracking – Keep friends, family and colleagues informed of your whereabouts with global tracking via the Iridium satellite network. Track points can be sent manually or automatically at pre-defined intervals of 2, 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. The tracking info is transmitted to your online MapShare page, a page unique to you where contacts can view your progress and send messages to your device.
Pair with iOS or Android mobile device – You can pair an iOS or Android device with inReach Explorer+ to unlock extra capabilities via the EarthMate app. EarthMate allows you to access downloadable maps and send messages using the mobile device’s keyboard.
